UglyFatTroll Heavy, *heavy*. This five song release has become my favorite body of work released in 2020. Thoughtful, relevant lyrics delivered with this incredibly brutal clarity. Beautiful, sludgy guitar riffs. Everything I want to hear out of a rhythm section: cool distorted bass that sits right in the mix, thunderous drums; start-stops, blasties, fast kickies, gallops, and big fillies. Makes me want to drink a gallon of water, do 1,000 push-ups, tear off the sleeves of my shirt and burn a flag downtown. Favorite track: Citizen Prisoner.

My subject matter ranges from the surreal to the obscene My words kill you in the dark just like the did Epstein What if the strong stood up for the abused? What if the guillotines we put in front of mansions were used? What if Breonna's killers got what they deserved, a fucking bat to the face til they don't breathe anymore? What if we danced as Wall St burned? What if all the propaganda could be unlearned? What if dropping bombs on poor people is cowardice? What if those who attacked a revolution empowered it? What if we made I.C.E. wish that they were never born? What if we gave the feds exactly what they dressed up for? What if power feared those that it dispossesses? Remember, all of these cowards have names and addresses

I must be going insane I must be losing my mind Is that Portland or Occupied Palestine? I'm having mental problems And I'm not quite sure Is that Minneapolis? Looks just like Johannesburg The real answers are questions And they'll never be mentioned They don't want anybody ever making the connection The real terrorists wear blue and green uniforms And those "disturbing the peace" were just disturbing the war You're just a citizen prisoner Watching shadows on the wall See, they remember terrorism when it's in Manhattan They forget about al-Awlaki, they forget about Fred Hampton Security of what? Safety of who? They blew up Blair Mountain and Let The Fire Burn on MOVE And business is booming, but tell me who really wins? When it's lights out in Puerto Rico There's no water in Flynt There's pipelines pumping the blood of the poor There's a face of a rapist up on the supreme court You're just a citizen prisoner Watching shadows on the wall Who do you serve? Who do you protect? Motherfucker Thirteentwelve

We can play the game and live in fear, but the only heroes that we need are in the mirror The enemy is actively committing the crime, so fuck the system we don't have the time This whole fucking world is on fire It's on me and you to put it out So when there's doubt, a thing to think about... 1946, Georgia shakes with fear of the Klu Klux Klan The mind of Stetson knows all their tricks They go down, the sound of Superman 2 years before, Heisenberg plays dumb and snubs the nazis nuclear ambitions One move made the difference In ways we felt Didn't see Vasili Arkhipov was told to blow up the world and said "I refuse to die for your bullshit wars, fuck that and fuck you too" No one is coming to save us No one It's just us They say there ain't no power like the power of the people cos the power of the people don't stop All the money in the world and your flag unfurled but that steel is still gonna drop They say there ain't no power like the power of the people cos the power of the people don't quit When the world is burning down and your number comes around that badge don't mean shit No one is coming to save us No one It's just us

Overseer 02:27
Whatever they do to them they could do to us Ashes to ashes and democracy to dust And if the voiceless were right here right now What would they say to you? See an invisible line tear apart a family See a man in a suit count all his money See a kid in cage, he's fading with every shiver See a man and his daughter at the edge of the river Overseer Now humanity is just an obstacle That red hat is just a swastika Overseer They put the sundown towns on federal grounds this time around You didn't "back the blue" when that green got you high There was no love for lady justice when your boy got a D.U.I. You pick and choose because it's not about crime You wanna hold down your spot while they hold on just to survive Overseer Now humanity is just an obstacle That red hat is just a swastika Overseer They put the sundown towns on federal grounds this time around Overseer And they're coming for me and you sooner or later Overseer So you better make your move while they're here for your neighbor Make your move He who can say who can say who can go where How can it be fair? What kind of choice did they get to make Between death And a nightmare Whatever they do to them they're gonna do to us Ashes to ashes and democracy to dust And if the voiceless could look you in the eye What would they see inside of you? Demonize, stigmatize, criminalize Make America Hate Another Color Creed or Size Yeah, you pick and choose because it's not about crime You want to hold down your spot while they hold on Just to survive

Your Boy 03:07
Well the message is clear You don't give a fuck about it When it's your boy Your brother Your lifelong friend Who would never do something like that, except once But that was different I know all the lines, just let me try it "He's done good shit for you" but you're not biased "This fucking slut just can't change her mind" "She'll ruin his reputation" If this is a community, then you think about two numbers How many in hardcore have been abused And then how many of us have confronted these abusers Face to face He's 24 and she's 14 Looking back, can't escape it You'd never call a rapist a friend because you'd never call your friend a rapist All around the world with his god-tier band Then he gets outed for sexual violence How many of these "tough guys" never took a stand? What were they scared of? Why were they silent? Well the message is clear You don't give a fuck about anything or anyone He's the OG legend, the chosen son, and he beats the shit out of women And just one more time, before any of you try it The "social justice warrior" "white knight" line More like a backbone Something to look into If not here, then where? If not us, then who? If you think I'm talking about your boy, grab your fucking balls and take it up with him I have no tolerance I have no patience I have no interest I'm not impressed
